Okay I did actually get some time, so my newest piece of work is up for viewing now...
I must apologize,
in my last journal i said that my next piece of work is nearing completion. Which is true. I also said that i'd soon be done with it. Which was not true.
The reason is, that i haven't really got any sparetime for artwork at the moment, as 8 of my Uni Projects are due to be handed in in 2 weeks time. So I'm currently spending all my time getting the priority work done. I must say I am really itching to open up my GFX folder, but for the time being i have to stay disciplined. Anyway it will all be over in 17 days, as far as I am not confusing dates, and then it's 2 and a half months of summer break for me, in which i shall satisfy my urge for creating something new.
I just browsed through some of the newest spaceart and there is some truely impressive stuff up. Call me a popularity whore, but that really pushes me to also want to create something new and interesting.
So like i said, there are two allready existing pieces I plan to complete. One of them was actually planned for the last ~
Space-Artists pack, but I have been jumping through about 10 possible "final" stages of the image already, without coming to a satisfactory result. I may well submit multiple versions in the end, but i'm not too sure about that yet.
Apart from that I have a lot more planned. I'm currently trying to teach myself a little 3d modelling in C4d, and have learned a little about boolish operations. Don't expect anything brilliant very soon though. I dare say it'll take me some time to get to the level that provides submitable results. I also want to try and do some new textures and am thinking about getting a tablet (like i haven't thought about that before).
Long story short: i am not dead and will be back soon.
I found it very pleasing to find that my page is still being visited, when i haven't submitted anything in a while, so i must thank everybody for taking interest. Thank you.
Btw the Luminarium have submitted a new art-pack, including some very impressive work (space-art as well as other), be sure to take a look at

Old mother Hupboard went to the cupboard to fetch her poor dog a bone.
When she bent over, Rover took over and gave her a bone of his own.
