This is my submission for the latest Dev-Pack from . the theme was "the edge of the universe"

If you like this you might also want to check out the other pictures in the pack [link]

About:
imo this is a quite unusual spacescape. it displays the whole universe in one picture. This is one way I imagine it to be.

While working on this I remembered a documentary i had seen once that was about the whole of the known and unknown universe. Speculations and theories where stated to how the universe is built up.
One theorie was that there is one central point of gravity in the universe that pulls every planet, star, galaxy, object and even light towards it to compress them in one spot known as a singularity.
(I bet a lot of you might have allready heard that)

So that is what i went for with my submission

The way i usually do it (might not be as good as this) is to motion blue a lense flare....or a brushed line...once u've done that duplicate the layer and blur it then try using layer styles (i cant remeber which ones i just randomly try them :p) with this u should be able to get a nice and shiny flare line...also when you colour the flare use colour balance im sure u do that anyway but just to make sure...say u make a blue flare line like this one for highlights, colour it with cyan this will make it pop a bit more...

hope this was helpfull at all i probably didnt teach u anything new :p but either way :D
