This is my submission for the Portfolio Page Contest.

I made 5 preview Pictures that display how I imagine the page to work.

On the left side there is room for artwork or professional and commercial work the artist has done aswell as webpage designs and skins etc.

The artists can create new categories and give those titles like in picture1 "digital" or "photography". In these, the artists can place images from his gallery or an external address. The thumbnails are 100x100 pixels big and would have to be uploaded to deviantart like a preview image. That way you could arrange your work in fitting sections to display them on the left half of the screen. If it is not possible to create your own categories i guess one would be able to chose from all the categories deviatnart offers (traditional, photography, digital, minimalistic etc.).

There is also a "commercial" works tab (picture 4) and a "miscellaneous" tab for everything that you wouldn't want in either the "artwork" or "commercial" tab. In these you could also create categories to display your work in.

On the right half of the screen the actual information about the artists is shown. I divided it up into "portrait" "contact" and "status".

The portrait tab is visible in picture 1 and 3, where there is an optional photo of the artist included.

The contact tab is visible in picture 4.

You can see the status tab in picture 5.


In picture 2 you can see how an image would be displayed after you have clicked on the thumbnail. The Artists can write a comment about the picture which is displayed under the image.


You can navigate through the different tabs on the left side while nothing changes on the other side and the other way round.


In the upper right corner there is a link to the deviantart profile, gallery and print pages of the deviant. I thought the favs and journal link didn't fit in a portfolio. The deviantart icon sends you to the main page of da. you can not search the da art galleries from the portfolio page. i thought it would be best to make it all about the artist.
