This is a planet ressource you can use in your artwork. Remember that you may not use it for commertial purpose. I'm not gonna kill you if you don't give me credit for this, but if you feel it's a major part of the picture you put it in then please be fair and post a link to the ressource or mention my name.

Resolution: 1200x1200 (72dpi)
Filesize: 3mb (7,5mb unzipped)
Layers: 4 (textures, atmosphere, shadow, color)

I merged the whole planet to four layers so that you can change things like the lighting or the color. You may also edit the texture.

If you use this i would be pleased to recieve a link to the picture and have a look at the final image.

You will need winrar to open the file.

one allways has that in mind but it's a problem of realisation. other than that people allready have made good planet creation tutorials. you might want to check alyns tutorial. it's old but it's good.

yeah, i think iv'e dowloaded all the best tutorials from here including Alyn's
but always end up with a crap texture.
