This is my submission to the Exotika 2 contest. hope i'm not too late. literally worked on this until the very last minute.
I started off with doing a lot of renders in terragen to find the best camera position. The terrain was created in worldmachine. All the rest was done in photoshop.
this picture was a real struggle. I allways had the composition looking pretty good imo, but it was really missing "it" if you know what i mean. A lot of trying out, moving around, deleting, redoing and staring at the screen in this one.
Tell me what you think.
Full View! You won't be able to capture the details from the resized thumb.
thx man. I would like to leave it on my hard drive for a little longer to refine things, but I had to meet the deadline. Anyway i'm very glad you like it

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
